Josef Mengele is a character in Das Pacito AMV Warriors, originally from real life. He is a Nazi doctor known as the "Angel of Death", infamous for his human experimentation; in disguise as Doctor Joe, he was a close friend of Karl Marx who helped Marx with experiments and supported the formation of the Das Pacitos. After Marx's death, he used Rasputin's forbidden knowledge to enact his own selfish plans to unleash OCs upon the world and split it in two with the 1000 Degree Knife. Although his plans were foiled and he was killed by the Das Pacitos, he was nevertheless singularly responsible for permanently changing the nature of the remix world.
History
Origins of the Das Pacitos
In disguise as "Doctor Joe", Mengele worked with Karl Marx during the dying days of the Second World War. Marx had a range of experiments which, as a skilled scientist, Mengele was suited to help with. Mengele was able to learn about Marx's vault where he kept his most dangerous ideas, and where Marx locked Rasputin after Rasputin told the pair about OC technology. He secretly set up an area in his house to perform the ritual to summon OCs, in preparation for the eventual retrieval of the formula.[1]
Still in disguise, Mengele was enlisted as the chief scientist of the Das Pacitos,[1] and attended the first meeting in the IHOP atop Mount Everest. Other than a brief and obnoxious appearance by James D. Rockefeller, the meeting was incredibly boring, and ended in a speech from Marx about why everyone should eat potato salad.[2] After a meeting break, Lenin and Trotsky returned to announce that Marx had died, causing many of the Das Pacitos to abandon the group in disappointment. Mengele was one of the ones who stayed with the group and followed Trotsky and Lenin on their journey to Leningrad, now renamed Stalingrad.[1]
Enacting his plan
During the group's time in Stalingrad, they confronted Stalin about his takeover of the USSR. Stalin mentioned Marx's secret vault, in reaction to which Lenin got heated and quickly left; Stalin attempted to sow dissent in the group by claiming that Trotsky was an American spy, after which Mengele non-subtly left the room. Finding Lenin in a field of cherry trees, Joe gave him details about the vault and Rasputin, omitting details about OC technology and instead claiming that Rasputin's knowledge included a way to bring Marx back from the dead. He brought a very eager Lenin to the vault and had him do the dirty work of traversing the tunnels and retrieving the formula from Rasputin.[1]
Now at Mengele's own house with Lenin and the formula, Mengele began the summoning ritual. Stalin, the KGB, and the remaining Das Pacitos attempted to intercept him, but to no avail as the portal to Hell was created and Mengele revealed his true identity to all. The KGB's guns had no effect on Mengele nor on the OCs that emerged from the portal, and the Das Pacitos (save for Lenin) were forced to retreat. He commanded his OCs to destroy the exit and the KGB, leaving Stalin and Lenin no recourse but to jump through the portal to Hell. A frustrated Mengele then sent his OCs after the Das Pacitos, telling them to take over Leningrad.[1]
