Behind all the lies. Behind all the conspiracies. There is an idea. It is an idea that has existed since humanity began and has driven nearly all of human development sence. It has affected everyone in the world at some point in time even if they don’t even realize it.

It has been called many names throughout history and cultures. Magic, Sorcery, Ki, Necromancy, Clairvoyance, Stands, Stories, Dreams. It is the idea of bringing the world we see in our minds, our imaginations if you will, a world free of rules or logic, into the physical world of laws and algorithms we inhabit.

Usually when people attempt to do this it results in art, paintings, sculptures, stories, books and movies. But when someone takes the idea too literally it tends to end up... horrific.

An OC, short for Original Character, is a fictional character created by someone. In the remix world, the term also refers specifically to OCs that have been brought out of the realm of imagination and into the remix world, thanks to a mysterious ritual shared with Karl Marx and Doctor Joe by Rasputin.

Due to the fictional nature of the remix world, all characters in the remix world are technically OCs of someone in real life, added to the remix tree by Scratch users for fun. However, from the perspective of the remix world, their origins differ; many characters were in the remix world all along and thus are not considered OCs within the context of the remix world, while a few entered the remix world through someone in the remix world using OC technology.

OC technology

OC technology involves bringing characters to reality using a sort of half-consciousness combined with the energy of creativity and innovation, which can be siphoned from Hell. Josef Mengele successfully managed to do this.[1]
