The reviewer gave her a high rating, sparking jealousy in [[Matthew Rockefeller]], whose OCs had received a low rating. Matthew decided to take revenge by trapping the highest-rated OCs inside a world of insanity; using [[Face the Consequences|their Stand]], they created the [[remix tree]], which contained a [[remix world|fictional universe]] where Anina and the other highest-rated OCs lived. Anina Arquaz is a character in the remix tree, who originally became well-known due to her "anina R cross" costume, which looks vaguely like a dab. She is a dancer, a member of the Das Pacitos, and Avocado Ian's girlfriend. She was witness to the Grunkle Impact, and seemingly perished in it before Kars and his friends successfully reversed the event.

Anina is generally kind and willing to provide a helping hand to her friends, such as Pico,[1] but she's simultaneously prone to rash and inexplicable acts of violence, to the extent of at one point trying to kill Ian.[2]

She also exists in the untitled world, fused with fantasy9.

In the untitled world, Anina was fused with fantasy9, and spun around a canyon-type structure in a theater. fantasy9 would kill the untitled girl any time she touched it.[3]

Creation

Anina Arquaz was an OC created by an unknown Scratch user in real life, who submitted her to an OC reviewer on Scratch. The reviewer gave her a high rating, sparking jealousy in Matthew Rockefeller, whose OCs had received a low rating. Matthew decided to take revenge by trapping the highest-rated OCs inside a world of insanity; using their Stand, they created the remix tree, which contained a fictional universe where Anina and the other highest-rated OCs lived. At one point, she tried to kill Avocado Ian. During a conversation at the Crazy Noisy Street Corner, Ian mentioned he was in love with Anina; Paula was skeptical given her murderous tendencies.[2]

Relationships

Avocado Ian

Initially, Ian and Anina had a rocky relationship, as Anina tried to kidnap[2] and later kill[12] Ian while he was doing mundane tasks. However, Ian was somehow able to forgive this; he fell in love with Anina,[2] and started spending lots of time with her.[12]

Matthew Rockefeller

Anina was one of the highest-rated OCs by the reviewer that gave Gloryclaw a 1, so Matthew holds a vengeance against her and was the one to cause her to be put in the remix tree.[13] However, they've never met in person.

Paula Denton

Paula was hesitant of Ian and Anina's relationship, seeing as Anina had previously tried to kidnap[2] and/or kill him.[12] Paula's thoughts on Anina other than that are mostly unknown.

Pico Pascal

Anina and Pico don't seem to know each other very well, but Anina was glad to help Pico out when he was lost on a beach; throughout their whole conversation, Pico retained his trademark grin.[7]

Toast Michaelwaver

Anina and Toast really don't know each other very well, as evidenced by the fact that, when Ian and Paula were discussing Anina, Toast had no idea what they talking about.[12] However, since Ian and Anina started dating, it's possible they've gotten to know each other better.
