The remix world is a complex and constantly shifting entity without a coherent sense of time, space, or anything really. As such, it's hard to create any sense of a coherent narrative or timeline, and nobody really knows when or where any given remix is set. However, the fanaticism of certain remixers (mostly ZiqwerkelSharda) has brought a speculative timeline into existence.
Timeline
Creation from the outside in
In 2018, a denizen of the remix world called Matthew Rockefeller was living in real life. They used a Scratch account, and submitted their OC, Gloryclaw, to an OC reviewer. However, the reviewer gave Gloryclaw a 1/10, and Matthew was enraged. They commanded their Stand, Face the Consequences, to drive the highest-rated OCs insane; it did this by manipulating a group of Scratch users to create the remix tree. This, in turn, created the entire remix world and its entire history.[1] The remix world's creation thus forms a time loop, with the entire world and its history having been brought into creation by someone who was created in that world due to that history.
Descent into madness
Over time, OCs were popularized and the remix world only became more and more chaotic.[2]
Creation from the inside out
In 2018, Face the Consequences appeared screaming in Consequence City.[3] This was the moment when the remix tree was created in real life,[1] and Paula Denton, Avocado Ian, and Toast Michaelwaver were all caught up in its antics.[4]
Meanwhile, over in real life, Matthew Rockefeller was horrified to discover that they had inadvertently created the world they so despised. They started to grow sympathetic towards Ian, Paula, and Toast, and only thought it fair to put them out of their misery.[1] Not wanting to reveal the truth, they made up a whole story about Ian being the source, and used it as justification to have their digital avatar confront the gang[5] at the Crazy Noisy Street Corner and shoot Ian with a gun. Presumably, they planned to shoot the rest next, and indeed, they next aimed the gun at Paula; however, their plans were foiled by Paula and Jacie Denton,[6] and their digital avatar was destroyed by an ambulance.[5]
Grunkle Impact
Eventually, Grunkle Stan caused the Fourth Impact, a cataclysmic event also known as the Grunkle Impact. Anina, Dan, Frank and turtlehat were all present for this; turtlehat tried to protest, to no avail.[7] The Impact caused the entire remix world to become nothing more than a white void; according to Dan, his and Frank's high coolness levels meant that they were the only survivors. However, he was proven wrong when Vincent Tong turned out to have survived as well.[8]
This incident was removed from the timeline by Vehicles, Franke, and Vincent.[9]
The FAA apocalypse
Another apocalypse happened when the FAA tried to take its own test, causing the universe to end when two versions of the FAA occupied the same space at the same time.[10]
