Pannacotta Fugo is a character in the remix tree, originally from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He is a member of the gang Passione.

In the original manga colorization, Fugo has red clothes and white hair; in the anime, he has green clothes and blonde hair. Which is the better color palette has been a point of some contention, a debate which has made its way into the remix tree.

History

Movie star

He was filming a movie version of Eyes of Heaven with Noriaki Kakyoin, and presumably other JoJo characters. Kakyoin went off set and interrupted Holly Wood's attempt to prescribe medication to Avocado Ian. Seeing that he was being creepy, Fugo got annoyed and dragged him back to the movie set.[1]

Melone and Fugo have a confused conversation.

Dance party

Giorno Giovanna turned into Fugo during a dance party in the Burj Khalifa; Fugo then tried to run away because he was scared of Joshu Higashikata, his boss.[2] He asked Melone for help, to no avail. He and Melone then had a strange, contradictory conversation where Fugo flip-flopped between wanting to be allies with Melone and accusing him of being a traitorous criminal.[3]

Fugo, Melone, and Joshu then started flying outside the Burj Khalifa and getting freakishly happy,[4] but then they all decided to chill out at Melone's suggestion.[5]

Meeting Phoogo

When the Guitaf and the Triceratops were hanging out, their environment turned red, infected by Fugo's pink color scheme. The Guitaf turned into Champ99, who then turned into Fugo's "Panna99" form.[6]. As Phoogo made its presence known in the vicinity, they fled. However, Fugo left something behind: his name carried over to Phoogo in distorted form, giving the entity its current moniker.[7]

Transformations

Fugo resulted from Melone turning into Giorno during a dance party, who then turned into him. The full progression over the course of several projects is laid out below.

Funny enough, Fugo's sprite came full circle: he started out as Matthew from Fire Emblem, and eventually, his Fire Emblem talksprite was a recolored version of Matthew's Fire Emblem talksprite.

Relationships

Melone Mattea

Fugo and Melone have a contentious relationship. When Fugo asked for help from Melone, Melone entirely ignored him, and Fugo then started considering him a traitor to the cause. Though Fugo then started treating Melone as an ally, Melone doesn't seem to reciprocate the feelings of camaraderie; rather, he's just confused about the whole affair.[3]

Phoogo

When Phoogo initially asserted its presence in the remix world, Fugo was present, and thus the former was named after the latter. Fugo can barely cope with Phoogo's presence, and has a track record of running away from it.[7]
