Gloryclaw is one of Matthew Rockefeller's most prized OCs, and the romantic partner of Pianolove. She originated in Matthew's OC universe, and a version of her theoretically also existed in the AU version of said universe. She would later go on to appear in the remix world.

Matthew has stated that she is based on GamingWithJen, and in fact a version of her exists in Jay and Elle's dimension who looks like GamingWithJen with a cat head.

History

As fictional characters

As they grew up in the remix world, Matthew created Pianolove and Gloryclaw as fictional characters, and had aspirations of using OC technology to make them real by the time Matthew was seven.

They later submitted Gloryclaw to a Scratch OC reviewer, and she was rated 1/10; this was the impetus for Matthew to create the remix tree as revenge against the highest-rated OCs.

At one point, during Matthew's time spent posting on their DeviantArt while stuck in real life, they introduced Gloryclaw to viewers. While drawing one art piece, Matthew drew Gloryclaw, but then decided to make her a different character named Flowerglory.

Matthew's OC universe

In Matthew's OC universe, Gloryclaw is a cat from RiverClan with the power to control light. This allows her to control light levels and the time of day. Because she's based off Gaming with Jen, she also has all the abilities that come with being in Minecraft Creative Mode.

She fell in love with Pianolove, but because they are from different clans, their love is forbidden. Pianolove also has some form of a relationship with Flowerglory – it's unclear what Gloryclaw's part in this is.

Remix world

While Gloryclaw was plot-relevant in the remix tree, and was depicted by way of showing the AMV she appeared in, it would take her quite a while to show up physically in the remix world.

Alternate universe

In an alternate universe, Gloryclaw and Jay and Elle were acquaintances, and met Party Paint Joutaro and Melone, who had come in from the normal world. Gloryclaw explained that Joutaro's microwave Lunchables had expired in the BCE era, to his dismay; Jay and Elle babbled oddly, and the two remix world denizens got weirded out and left. Gloryclaw and Jay and Elle were then knocked out of frame by Dawn Patch.

She introduced herself as Gloryclaw once, and later as PiaMoLo.
