JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Killer Queen is a character originally from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure who appears in the remix tree. Despite its serious-looking demeanor, Killer Queen seems to be a goofy Saturday morning cartoon–type villain; it smiled smugly after blowing up Face the Consequences, later blew up the Utensils, and acted hammy and smug when confronting Paula, Ian, and Toast. Its relationship with the main trio varies; for a while it often appeared alongside Paula and Ian, but seemed more hostile towards them sometime after Toast became part of the group.

It also exists in a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure AU created by turtlehat, in which it falls in love with Stray Cat.

Stand

A speculative design based on a bucket of milk.

Milkcan

Not much is known about Killer Queen's Stand, Milkcan, not even its main ability. KQ is able to turn things into contact bombs by touching them[1], or simply blow things up,[2] but it's unclear if this is Milkcan's ability or simply another ability of Killer Queen's. (Note that in JoJo's canon, Killer Queen itself is a Stand which has this same power of bomb creation.)

At one point, Milkcan gained a new ability called Milkcan Bites the Dust, which Killer Queen used to rewind time. However, it wasn't able to control very well how far back the power went, and it rewound all the way back to Paula's childhood; it's unclear if any character was brought back in time, or if it simply allowed the viewer to see an event from the past.[3]

History

Creation

Killer Queen was an OC created by Hirohiko Araki in real life[4], who submitted it to an OC reviewer on Scratch. The reviewer gave it a high rating, sparking jealousy in Matthew Rockefeller, whose OCs had received a low rating. Matthew decided to take revenge by trapping the highest-rated OCs inside a world of insanity; using their Stand, they created the remix tree, which contained a fictional universe where Killer Queen and the other highest-rated OCs lived. From Killer Queen's perspective, it had always lived in this fictional remix world, and now the absurdity was simply ramping up as the Scratch users portrayed more and more ridiculous things in their projects.[3]

The tree's beginnings

In several projects, it appeared in the mouth of Face the Consequences,[5] and later blew it up using its bomb ability.[6]

With Ian and Paula

Later on, Killer Queen joined up with Ian and Paula in a Five Nights at Freddy's parody, attacking the player.[7] This trio would continue into the next few remices, where the three cosplayed Pillar Men from JoJo's,[8] then characters from Shrek,[9] and celebrated ZiqwerkelSharda's birthday.[1]

Killer Queen became less relevant as Toast returned to being the main individual seen alongside Ian and Paula. However, it did have a later interaction with the trio: it confronted them after the Crazy Noisy Showdown, attempting to defeat them with Milkcan Bites the Dust.[3]

Relationships

Avocado Ian

Ian and Killer Queen spent lots of time together; they cosplayed[8] and celebrated ZiqwerkelSharda's birthday together.[1] Paula Denton was with them for most of these. However, KQ's opinion of Ian soured around the time the siblings started spending more time with Toast Michaelwaver; Killer Queen called them "Lakewood Lozerz" and trying to use its Stand against them,[3] although Ian later referred to KQ as a friend nonetheless.[10]

Matthew Rockefeller

Though KQ was one of the five OCs that Matthew swore vengeance against and trapped inside the remix tree,[4] the two have never interacted personally.

Paula Denton

Killer Queen and Paula got along for a while, cosplaying[8] and celebrating ZiqwerkelSharda's birthday together along with Avocado Ian.[1] However, once the siblings started hanging out with Toast instead, Killer Queen got more antagonistic towards both of them, calling them "Lakewood Lozerz" and attempting to use its Stand against them.[3]

Toast Michaelwaver

For a while, Killer Queen entirely supplanted Toast's role as the third member of Paula and Ian's group.[7] Eventually, Toast became the main third person in the friendgroup, and Killer Queen became antagonistic towards all three of them.[3]

Trivia

  • In Despito the Musical - Vanilla on Ice! HD 180p Trailer, it was depicted as the counterpart to the JoJo's character Yoshikage Kira, who in JoJo's canon is Killer Queen's Stand user. This means that Milkcan was implicitly designated as the remix counterpart to Killer Queen in JoJo's itself.
