Barney Calhoun is a character from Half-Life who appears in the remix tree and the Lunchables tree alongside Kleiner. The two of them appear as modified versions of Scratch Cat.
History (remix world)
In the remix world, Barney guarded a captcha, telling Gordon Freeman he couldn't go through without his hazard suit. When Gordon successfully solved the captcha, he relented and let Gordon through.[1]
History (Lunchables world)
He talked with Kleiner in a canyon in the Lunchables world, while Tera and Penguin flew around behind the two of them making noise.[2] The canyon then started to spin, and they entered Test Chamber W, a nearby floating building which was slightly soundproofed.[3]
