Thomas Nast
Thomas Nast is a character in Das Pacito AMV Warriors, originally a famous editorial cartoonist from real life. He attended the Felthingsons' Christmas party in 1921.
History
Thomas Nast once encountered August Derleth while sitting on a bench. Derleth sat next to Nast and told him about eldritch horrors, as well as about Santa Claus. Thereafter, Nast remained haunted by Derleth's words.[1]
In New York in 1921, Nast attended the Christmas Eve party hosted by Robert and Mary Felthingson. That day, his car went missing, and he found it in the Felthingsons' driveway, thinking Robert had stolen it. After hearing a scream come from upstairs, he followed the Felthingsons, Charlie Chaplin, Marx, and Engels, and the group discovered Jimmy's body. Nast recounted Derleth's words about eldritch horrors and Santa Claus, telling Robert to check the roof for sleigh tracks. Robert took this to mean that Santa was Jimmy's killer, and so the Felthingsons, Marx, and Engels traveled to the North Pole to avenge Jimmy, presumably leaving Nast at the party.[1]
