Initially, Ian and Anina had a rocky relationship, as Anina tried to kidnap[1] and later kill[2] Ian while he was doing mundane tasks. However, Ian was somehow able to forgive this; he fell in love with Anina,[1] and started spending lots of time with her.[2]
