Avocado Clicker EXPERTMODE [v1.1] Season 2! Episode Only (THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS!)
Avocado Clicker EXPERTMODE [v1.1] Season 2! Episode Only (THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS!) is a project in the remix tree. It is one of only three projects made before the remix tree went on hold for several months in wait of the untitled Phoogo project, along with Luanch Toime!!!1!! and Speedruanning Toime!!!1!!.
Summary
Avocado Ian is in front of a red background, echoes of his image undulating in the background. The player may click him to get avocados, a currency which they can spend on two ridiculously expensive things: Paula, who will automatically generate more avocados, and tools let the player get more avocados per click: the Hypno Shades, the Jazzy Shoes, the JC Shades, the LazerTech Shoes, the GEP Gun, and the GLEP Gun. Because of the prices, it takes an excruciating amount of time to buy everything – especially the GLEP Gun, which now costs 9,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 avocados, or just under ten sextillion. Once the player has bought everything, Paula keeps generating more avocados forever, and a scoreboard appears saying how long it took you vs. the fastest player to complete the game.

Trivia
- This installment of Avocado Clicker shares some trivia with its predecessor:
- It was seemingly created in response to turtlehat remarking on the series's difficulty. On the previous project, he left a comment saying "THIS IS LIKE AVOCADO CLICKER: EXPERT MODE" in reference to a player quote from Simoz's Minecraft Hardcore Season 2 (also referenced here). Since the project was only titled "HARDMODE," Mercenary_Connor took this as a dare to make an even harder version of Avocado Clicker and replied "Challenge Accepted."
- Its title is in the same format as episodes of PeanutButterGamer's various Hardcore gaming series on YouTube.
- Typing "devpress" while the project is running still causes Mercenary_Connor to say "Git prank'd," pranking anyone searching for cheat codes left over from development.
- Due to how Scratch stores numbers, earning enough Avocados to buy the GLEP Gun fairly is impossible. Even with all upgrades unlocked, Scratch stops recording clicks after 288,230,376,151,711,740 Avocados, which is 4 orders of magnitude shy of the price tag. This is because variables have limited precision, and as the number stored in them increases, the size of the increment needed to make a meaningful difference in that number also increases. At the above number, the increments of 32 Avocados granted by each click are too small relative to the total amount to make a dent in it.
- Even if it were possible, amassing enough Avocados would take an unfeasible amount of time. If you were to constantly click at 10 clicks per second with full upgrades (meaning Paula helps generate about 27,872 additional Avocados per minute), it would take approximately 403,910,024,822 years to earn enough Avocados to buy the GLEP Gun.
- When conceptualizing the game, Mercenary_Connor wanted to use "mus_kingdescription," an unused track from Undertale, as the soundtrack. He later decided it didn't suit the game, and after he found the current soundtrack—"Facing the Demon" from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story for the SNES—he never ended up adding it to the project.
