r/TimeForToast is a project in the remix tree, and the first project in the Reddit Saga.

Summary

In a grassy landscape, the player controls a plane. It drives by Avocado Ian, who says "shut the up," then by Paula, who says "do you know the Poffin Plan?", then by Toast who asks how to turn off his toaster. He speaks in meows, before realizing he needs to "speak human" for the Scratch user watching, and being told by the sun that the language he's talking about is called English. After a brief exchange, the sun turns into an angry face and starts yelling loudly, before quieting down at Toast's request. Toast asks what the player's name is, and chastises them for identity theft if they don't enter their own username; he then makes small talk, but is too distracted by the yelling sun, which soon reveals itself to be Avocado Ian.

A "to be continued" screen displays, but the player can press E to continue the scene. Toast is enraged at Ian for stealing the sun's identity, and extends his arm, to Ian's surprise. He punishes Ian by growing his arm so that The Hand contains Ian, and tossing Ian far away.

Instructions

click the green flag many times to make sure the project starts properly.

Use A and D or arrow keys to control the plane

if you press "e" at the right time, a secret ending may get unlocked. otherwise, who knows what'll happen.

[semi-spoiler]
after toast says "or even who caused it" there might be a slight pause before the scene continues. i couldn't figure out how to eliminate the pause, but i'm just putting this here to let you know that isn't the end of the project.

Notes and Credits

if you change the "o" in "toast" to a "y" and move it to the end of the word, toast will become tasty, which also occurs if you put honey on it.
