An untitled project featuring Phoogo was originally intended to be the seventy-seventh project in the main branch, and the 150th project overall.

History

After Cold Busters - Frank Response released in August of 2020, turtlehat began working on a new project involving Phoogo. Its production was slow-going due to the amount of work involved, and after the 149th project, Speedruanning Toime!!!1!!, was published, the publication of new projects was entirely halted so that the Phoogo project could be the 150th project. In the following months, turtlehat released several teasers, still indicating the project would come out soon.

Over time, as the project's release date became more and more uncertain, people started getting antsy, in particular PogChamp_279, who had recently been introduced to the remix tree and wanted a chance to post her first project that she'd made. On January 16, 2021, it was decided after a group discussion that a new remixer would be a perfectly good way to celebrate the milestone of the 150th remix, and turtlehat's project could instead be published at a later date. PogChamp_279 published Gordon vs. the FAA, and all was well.

turtlehat posted a couple more teasers, and eventually on February 26, 2021, posted a new teaser along with an announcement that the project's development was more ambitious than expected and would take many more hours of work before being completed, including storyboarding, inking, and coloring. After a long period of quiet with regards to development, the project was pretty much put on hold, until eventually that August, turtlehat announced that he was instead working on a project named Avocado Attorney, which is still in development to this day.

turtlehat currently plans to finish Avocado Attorney by the end of spring 2025, and release a storyboard version of the Phoogo project soon after.
